CHIKKA Federation of India (CFI) is an internationally recognised national-level non-profit organization committed to creating an equitable, inclusive and sustainable society through innovation, partnerships and community-driven development.
Our work spans multiple sectors of sustainable development, ensuring that communities receive holistic support to build healthier, safer, more equitable and resilient futures.
One of our flagship initiatives, BIOBLOOM, supported by Women Win, The Netherlands, is an innovative STEM-based programme that combines science, technology, engineering, artificial intelligence, and community engagement to promote Bodily Autonomy, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Menstrual Health and Hygiene, Period Equity, and Gender Equality.
Through awareness campaigns, digital innovation, community outreach, youth engagement, and capacity-building, BIOBLOOM empowers adolescents and communities with knowledge, confidence, and life-changing opportunities.
Integrating STEM, Artificial Intelligence, community engagement, health education and gender equality to empower the next generation.
Equipping young people with professional, digital and communication skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
Recognizing that skills are the foundation of economic empowerment, CHIKKA Federation of India, in partnership with the Government of Bihar, established a Skill Development Centre that has trained more than 1,000 young people in Information Technology (IT), Soft Skills, and Language Skills.
The programme has enabled many young people to secure employment, pursue entrepreneurship, and become self-employed, contributing to stronger local economies and sustainable livelihoods.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, CHIKKA Federation of India played a significant humanitarian role by organizing relief distribution, providing food and essential supplies, supporting vulnerable families, promoting public awareness, and responding to community needs during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.
Our commitment to humanitarian service continues through disaster preparedness, emergency response, relief distribution, and community rehabilitation initiatives.
Over the years, our advocacy campaigns, community programmes, digital initiatives, policy engagement, and grassroots activism have collectively reached and influenced millions of people across diverse sectors.
We firmly believe that sustainable development is achieved when communities become active participants in shaping their own future. By strengthening local leadership, encouraging innovation, and fostering inclusive participation, we continue to build resilient communities capable of creating lasting positive change.
